PlatSil Gel 10 4lb Kit is our most popular two-part Silicone Rubber which cures (RTV) to a milky white, Shore A10 rubber. This silicone is most often used to make prosthetic appliances in conjunction with Smiths Theatrical Deadener for lifecasting and mold making.

Platsil Gel 10 is the silicone system used by the worlds top Prosthetic technician, It has been used on Oscar nominated films and has seen success in movies such as The Iron Lady, and Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, and Benjamin Button, Pans Labyrinth, and many more!

It delivers the flesh like results unlike any other silicone product, it is quick easy to use has a neutral translucent colour and when mixed with Mouldlife skin pigments a skin tone and flesh like movement can be created.
 
Smiths Prosthetic Deadener 2lbs is the all important Gelling agent for use with Platsil Gel 10, If you are creating a prosthetic part and want to soften it so that it moves like flesh then you will need to Add the Smiths Deadener upto 200 % addition, (A typical amount of Deadener for a facial prosthetic is 175%).
